CSLA Legislative Agenda

Each year the Government Relations Committe under the Vice President of Government Relations reviews and updates the CSLA Legislative Priorities. These priorities are approved by the board and guide the advocacy efforts of CSLA's legislative lobbyist, Jeff Frost of Ball/Frost Group, LLC.

Our priorities fall under 3 categories:

Woman and child reading a book together on a bed.

Intellectual Freedom for Everyone in California Schools

Group of people celebrating with raised fists in a library, smiling and holding books.

Equitable access to information that is diverse and inclusive

Woman and child looking at a book in a library, surrounded by bookshelves.

Equitable access to qualified library personnel, including a credentialed teacher librarian and a qualified classified library assistant
