First Timers' Meeting, 4:45pm-5:45pm, Thursday, February 1

First time at the conference? Gather to meet other newbies and learn the ropes from some longtime CSLA veterans. Join them for tips on how to make your first conference a rewarding experience.

At the UnConference, you set the agenda and you are the expert. Don’t miss this chance to share and learn about the latest trends and ideas in school libraries with your colleagues in a fun, informal setting.

Legislative Meeting

Saturday, February 3, 8:00am - 9:15am

This session will bring you up to date on the breadth and depth of our advocacy efforts. The efforts have included multifaceted areas of influence from student learning to state legislation.

Glen Warren, Vice President of Government Relations, will provide important information about our holistic approach, and Jeff Frost, our Legislative Advocate, will share about our current state of advocacy and where we are headed in the near future.


Mix and Mingle with the Authors

This is your chance to meet with a variety of authors in an intimate setting.  Mix and Mingle with your favorite children’s book authors and illustrators. Learn about their new titles. Win their books! Meet book-lovers and come nerd out!

Find attendees from your section and meet your local representatives to the Southern and Northern Board.

Membership Meeting Breakfast

Membership Meeting is your forum for shaping our organization. The intent is for members to have a common space in which to raise concerns and questions that impact the direction and emphasis of CSLA. This meeting will also provide opportunities to collaborate with other members and discover opportunities to engage with CSLA throughout the year. Breakfast will be served.
